Enhanced Login Security

Q: What is Enhanced Login Security?

Enhanced Login Security is a new online security feature that will provide you additional protection from fraud and identity theft. Enhanced Login Security helps prevent unauthorized access to your accounts and secure financial information.

Q: Why do I need to use Enhanced Login Security?

Enhanced Login Security will allow us to further recognize you as the true owner of your account by recognizing not only your login identification but also recognizing your computer as well. If we don’t recognize your computer, we will challenge you for additional validation information that is known by only you, to ensure authorized access.

Q: How does Enhanced Login Security work?

You will need to enroll each computer that you use for online banking. Once you have added the extra login security to your computer, you will see no difference to the login functionality.  However, if you login from a different computer than the one you have enrolled, you will be presented with the challenge in order to login.

We recommend that you only enroll computer browsers that are secure and can only be accessed by authorized individuals of your accounts.

For example: You would not want to enroll a computer browser that was located within a public area, or used by many people.

Please note that if you use multiple browsers within the same computer you will need to enroll each browser separately.

Q: How do you recognize my computer?

When you enroll your computer for this service we will place a secure cookie on your computer. The cookie contains a unique identifier that is used in combination with your login identification. For every login attempt after you enroll one computer, we will look for this cookie and validate that it matches the login identification that you entered. Q: Can I login from multiple computers and browsers?

Yes you can login from as many different computers and browsers as you like. If you login from a computer that the system does not recognize, you will be challenged with a request for security code, so that we can verify that it’s really you. You will also have the option to enroll that computer if you would like us to recognize you from that computer in the future. After you enroll each computer you will not be challenged at that computer.

Note: If you use multiple browsers within the same computer you will need to enroll each browser separately.

Q: How will I be challenged?
